  • RLTL belongs to all fandoms!

    I RL couple shippers! Wheee!

I found some LoTR RLTLers today! They call themselves True Believers and they think that Elijah Wood & Dominic Monaghan are in luv and must hide their feelings from the world! It's all very tortured and romantic and gay, gay gay!

They have a very detailed history and all of their compiled evidence and rumors
    here!

It's all very detailed and scandolous and it got them kicked out of Date Lounge, a Big Gay Site! I the history page! Also, I love how self-aware they are! We are NOT crazies. Hee.

Dude. Are those the Tinhats? They're NUTS. It's hilarious. Any and all of my friends in LotRPS periodically update me on their latest exploits, which are even more entertaining than I'd expected.

this is a parody of the Tinhats. And I laugh, because they're all crazy.

Um, I think the tinhats are competitors with the True Believers! Because they think Dom is with Elijah! Not Billy Boyd.

And I that they think the color of the boys's shirts is a shout-out! Bwah! He were biege! It's a shout-out!

Part of me finds it amusing, but the other part (the one that's clearly in denial of the truth because it "ruins my fantasy" of hetero-Dom) wants to smack the crap out of them.

        <-- Such a hypocrite. JJ+KH = TLF!

Resurrecting this thread because Jensen Ackles and his girlfriend are apparently engaged and the Jensen/Jared Tinhatters in the Supernatural fandom are going INSANE. Well, insaner.

I stopped reading Ted from E! a while back - does he really feed these crazies or are they likely just assuming any vague comment he makes about co-stars on TV shows spending time together = "J-Squared are totes gay for each other! Girlfriends are beards!" Because I have a hard time believing that show is on the radar enough to merit Blind Item-age and yet there are pages of comments dissecting Ted's comments.

So, one of the Supernatural guys is having a baby with his wife and you know that fandom is full of teh crazy, right? People who angrily, passionately believe that JSquared are RLTL and that both their wives are beards. So in light of that, this is my favorite comment of the day (or maybe EVER):

We don't have to choose to believe it, it's true. Jared and Jensen are in love, and have been for a long time. The reason they don't come out is because they're from Texas and that left them with some homophobia, so they have pretend to be straight, because the fans that love them would not support them if they knew the shocking truth.
Damn Texas! Spreading the gay hate so JSquared can't come out!

If you want some extra LULZ, go here. It's all anonymous which is even more lame, but the comments had me laughing for a couple hours today.

God, Supernatural has the weirdest fandom. Why would they both need beards? And who would care if TV's most obscure stars were boning? I'd bet it would be a ratings and publicity bonanza for the little show that everybody forgot was on the air for the leads to come out as both gay and a couple! Ha!

Hah! So relevant for me because I just got into this show (about seven years too late...), and I just saw the meta episode where Sam and Dean are horrified by fanfic.

Dean: There's Sam Girls and Dean Girls and... What's a slash fan?
Sam: As in Sam slash Dean. Together.
Dean: Like... together, together? They do know we're brothers, right?
                Sam: Doesn't seem to matter.
                Dean: Well, that's just sick!

But anyway, that shit IS hilarious! And terrifying. Hilarifying?
Well if this is true then I'm done. I've always been a good little hat and tried to understand why the guys had to do what they did, but to bring a baby into this? Nope not going to support that.
What the what? It's not like they're Scientologists, people!

The show acknowledged the crazy? I haven't seen it since the first season. Mr. Is liked it but I took it off the TiVo because it was up against something else and he never mentioned it again. It's a good thing he doesn't pay attention to TV that much because I seriously do that to him all the time. Bwah!
