  • Oh, yeah, we have that picture of her here somewhere! Maybe on this thread a from a while back? And judging by that pic, I don't think Coachella Yellow Glasses is the sister either. The J and sister pretty much look alike (same potato nose), but their features are just better on a boy and she lost out by being a girl.

    CoreyFlood, check your PMs!

    • Oh y'all are NOT looping me out of this shit. For real.
Itís just really honestly so tiring and emotionally draining to have to get upset over reality constantly.

Dude! As IF I would EVER! I wrote CoreyFlood last year sometime because she was RL friends with my fave fanfiction writer, Juliet, who disappeared off the face of the Earth a couple of years ago after spending years being very communicative and regular with the updates and I just wanted to make sure she was just sick of writing about P/J sex and not like DEAD or something.

        • Aw, hope your friend isn't dead.

But I really need to know if The J just completely subsidizes sister's life.

          • CoreyFlood PLEASE update us on Juliet. I still check about every six months to see if she's resurfaced.

              • Oh, I can assure you that Juli is alive and well! Last time I checked in she was working two different, equally demanding jobs, so I would assume that has something to do with it. I think we'd all love to spend our days sitting on a beach somewhere writing if we could (I know I would) but unfortunately not very realistic IN THIS ECONOMY, right?

The other one, on the other hand, I feel like she has held some fancy titles in the "the arts". Not sure if they are actual jobs that pay actual rent, however.

                • Not familiar with Juliet either! Of course, MCT3K made me more familiar with the shit end of the fic-verse. Glad she's okay.

                  • Guys, WHAT? How have you not heard of Juliet? She wrote really loooooong stories, mostly of P/J finding each other later in life and getting together and making living happily ever after. My faaaave is Shadows of Starlight, a retelling of S3 with a follow up with tons and tons of BOAT SEX.

Most of her stories can be found here: http://thoseotherguys.yuku.com/forum...t#.T48DDNl2Nz0 but the formatting can be offputting as a bunch were cut and pasted from another forum.

Glad to hear she's ok! Sort of wish she had found success as a fanfic turned actual author instead of 50 Shades of Grey.

                    • If they are that long? She should re-work them and submit them for publication. I'm not joking.

I'd bet any amount of money that publishers start to pub fic in DROVES. They are a deeply unoriginal lot and if they think they can turn a profit by doing a find and replace of Pacey and Peter and Joey and Jillian and make a profit? They'd do it in a heartbeat. The world belongs to long-form fanfic writers just now.

If the the author was popular after the show was over? Because I was super-duper done with fic by then.

                      • Yeah, I think she started writing either during the last season or soon after. She started out on Capeside Diaries and then when that site went away, she went to PoTL and then Fic Snobs. She is my favorite, FAVORITE. Like, I still reread her stuff every once in a while and still end up reading way past my bedtime because I get involved in her stories all over again.

I definitely think she could rework them as original stories. They're VERY true to canon, though. Like there's no werewolf Pacey from Boston who meets junkie Joey from New York or anything like that. All the Creekers have the canon back story and she takes off from different points along the way. Her BOAT SEX fic is amazeballs, but my favorite is Can't Get There From Here, which is her version of S5. LOOOOOOVE it.

I'm so glad she's just busy, not dead!

                        • Hah! Oh, I know how easy it is for the fic world and the book world to mesh. I straight-up jacked plot points from some of my favorite books in two of my fics. Dawson would call them "homages."

Eeee. Excited about this linkage. My favorite fics were VERY true to canon, and ♫I'm in the mood for boat sex.♪

                          • Two new articles celebrating Jachelle!!!! Or Segilliams? Michason?

He won't be forgetting Michelle Williams anytime soon.

Funnyman Jason Segel has remained tight-lipped about his relationship with the My Week With Marilyn star, but he clearly declared his affection for her recently by taping her photo to his iPhone. (How charmingly analog!)

Now, he's got the words to back that up!

That's right, Segel is finally opening up about Williams, and the normally chatty actor decided to keep it sweet and simple...

"I think I would just very much like to be happy," he told Extra when asked about Williams while promoting his new flick, The Five-Year Engagement. "That's all I'm going to say about it."

Hollywood's newest couple just had a very public coming out party in the Big Apple.

Jason Segel and Michelle Williams made the scene at last night's New York City premiere of his new romantic comedy, The Five-Year Engagement, which officially kicked off the Tribeca Film Festival.

And the lovebirds turned up the heat with even more PDA at a post-screening bash.

MORE: Jason Segel Speaks Out About Michelle Williams: "I Would Very Much Like to Be Happy"

While Williams was MIA on the red carpet, she snuck into the Ziegfeld Theater to join her beau for the screening. According to People, Segel gave her a little kiss on the cheek as she left while he remained inside chatting with friends and well-wishers.

The twosome later met up at the after-party at the Museum of Modern Art where they looked happy as clams while mingling with the film's costars, including Emily Blunt and Kevin Hart.

The 32-year-old Muppet man was spotted holding the 31-year-old Oscar-nominated actress's hand for most of the evening, whispering in her ear, and escorting her around the tables, while Williams giddily returned the affection, pecking him on the cheek and rubbing his back, before being the first to depart the shindig.

But there's no doubt the smiles from the good friends turned paramours indicate this courtship could be going into overdrive—something Segel himself jokingly hinted at.

"My plan is to get her to marry me as quickly as possible before she finds out who I really am," the big guy told the magazine with a laugh, though he was speaking generally about his own vision of getting engaged, not specifically about his relationship with Michelle. "I'll do it romantic, but I'll do it like over a three-day weekend. We'll meet on Friday, have our first date on Saturday, engaged on Sunday and married on Monday."

Now that he's older, Segel said making that next big leap into marriage seems like a natural step.

"I hit my thirties and enough became enough," he added. "I'm ready to enter phase three. I put the puppets into a closet. I'm getting nice furniture."

Squeeing forever and forever and forever . . .

No way would Busy let Michelle jump into something with her buddy if it didn't have lasting potential. Married by 2014, bitches!

This. My favorite lurkers of the Twilight thread have gone on and fucking on about Juliet in fic discussions and I'm like, I've never heard of this person and I read an embarrassing amount of Creek fic back in the day. She's the end all, be all for them and even most Twi fic authors pale in comparison to her in their eyes.

                              *clueless*

                              Fifty Shades?

                              • I tried to read that 50 Shades fic (I have the PDF if anybody wants it) and a couple of my friends LOVED the porny nature of the book but I was BORED by page. 3.

Anyway, OMG. HE IS THE ONE!!!! I am SO HAPPY. I feel like an old friend of mine with a long, sad love life has started dating the ONE GUY I would have picked out for her! Hee! My feelings make no sense but there you have it. I am SO EXCITED to see them be grown-ups together. I want them to be papped at Sur La Table while she's 6 months pregnant. I never feel this way about celebrity couples. I already love them way more than DK & The J (who I mostly love for y'all's sake though they are totes hot together).
