  • I can't say I don't feel a little dirty after googling 'Matty McKibben shirtless', but here you go:

    • Ok he is acceptable. His body and skin tone maybe a little bit generic gay porn for my liking but I'm sure I'll like him more if I watch the show. I'll add this to my list.

Btw, I was reading another thread and saw one of your Dean Winchester gif. Now that one has been my boy for years. I don't watch Supernatural so I barely remember him most time, but every time I see his pic - Oh, fanfic now!

TOPIC! I ship JJ/Wes. You know when they used to bang chicks together, their balls totally touched.

      • Totally.

I think that might be my all time favorite fanvid, ophy. It's hilarious.
Itís just really honestly so tiring and emotionally draining to have to get upset over reality constantly.

        • So, this is still happening. And obvs, I don't know either him or Segal, but I think I'm being generous when I say that this is not an upgrade.

          • His hair! And she doesn't look as comfortable and happy with him. I know, I know, I am a crazy shipper.

            • That's the point: she hates happiness.

              • Well . . . a non-alcoholic with crazy hair and a young Woody Allen-esque vibe is *kind of* an upgrade from an alcoholic of any kind, even if they are Jason Segel.

Sounds like Jason is trying to do better, though.

                http://www.ibtimes.com/jason-segel-a...illiams-split#

According to a Radar Online report, Segel is allegedly struggling with alcoholism and recently began attending Alcoholic Anonymous.

The 33-year-old actor was seen on March 2 at an AA meeting in Hollywood, where he admitted to his addiction troubles.

“I have been sober for 12 days,” said Segel, reportedly telling other attendees that he thought it was time to quit drinking for good.

According to a source, the actor stayed for an hour while listening to other addiction stories.

Segel and “My Week With Marilyn” actress Michelle Williams split after dating one year. Radar Online reported that the actor’s alcohol issues were not the reason for the split.

Instead, long distance was the reason the couple called it quits, a source claimed. Williams lives in New York with her 7-year-old daughter, Matilda, and Segel resides in California.

“While Jason made every effort to make them a priority in his life -- and they were a top priority -- he still couldn’t drop everything and leave his life and career in L.A.,” said the source.

In 2011 the actor was spotted drunk outside a Los Angeles nightclub slurring his speech, talking about the Muppets and joking that his night out would become a “huge story.”
Okay, so they *say* his drinking wasn't an issue for MW, but considering what she went through with Heath, it seems unlikely to have played no role in the decision to split at all.

                • Okay, point taken about the alcoholism, but young Woody Allen is IMO not a compliment.

                  • Oh, if they went out of their way to say alcohol wasn't the issue, that makes me think it was totes the issue. Kinda bummed that MW went right into letting this new dude hang out with Matilda. Lookswise...um...I'm sure he's very nice.

                    • Info on Dustin Yellin, MW's new artist boyfriend.

He's almost 38. He's a decently big deal in the Brooklyn art scene, owning a gallery and also an arts center in Red Hook. He is working on a documentary about a remote Amazonian tribe.

This is what wikipedia says about his medium:
Yellin’s artworks are based on an accumulative process of painting and collaging on multiple layers of glass, creating three-dimensional forms.[2] Yellin began this accumulative process on layers of resin and has transitioned to laminated glass in his more recent works. Using found objects, images from a wide range of printed material and painting, Yellin creates fantastic scenes and images. Yellin's exploration of how we move within a mental environment of shifting depths is reminiscent of Deleuze’s A Thousand Plateaus and Robert Rauschenberg's combines. His paintings and collages use a method of representing three-dimensional forms that is similar to both lenticular images and rapid prototyping. The technique approximates a static volumetric display and is autostereoscopic. His artworks appear three dimensional without the use of special glasses or viewing equipment. Yellin is currently researching and developing methods of three-dimensional photography and expanding the breadth of his collages and paintings.
                      Okay!

He owns a three-story, 24,000-square-foot Civil War-era warehouse, which is home to his studio and art space, The Intercourse.
Yellin's building, which he purchased for $3.7 million in 2010 and has ambitions of turning into a non-profit art space, was hit hard by Superstorm Sandy last fall. The timing couldn't have been worse -- he had just done a total renovation on the space. In an interview with Bloomberg News following the storm, he said he had suffered millions of dollars of damage and much of his artwork had been destroyed.

Yellin, whose work is a hybrid of painting/collage and sculpture, has quite a few celebrity fans -- in addition to the blushing Williams. According to a 2012 profile on him in the New York Times, some of his buyers include Ben Stiller and Lance Armstrong. (His glass sculptures typically sell for $25,000 to $100,000.) A native of Aspen, Colorado, where he was raised by his single mom, he is represented by Vito Schnabel, the art dealer and curator who reportedly dated Demi Moore and is a good friend.
I'm okay with this. Everyone needs to go through a phase of dating an artistic genius type.

And I really want to love MDubs the way that you guys do, but I keep imagining what an evening with her and this artist dude would be like and can't roll my eyes hard enough. I'd definitely need Busy as a buffer.
