It’s messy but I put the last couple of years down to the approach of the big 4O, it makes some women a little crazy (see also DK). Maybe this will last, maybe not but she’ll have another child either way. As for the staged photo and the Matilda as matchmaker business its the usual ill-conceived preemptive PR BS.

Someone in that ONTD thread pointed out the insanity of the whole MW emancipation at 15 thing, and the fact that she is now estranged from her father, seemingly. Together with Heath, it’s clear she’s just eternally looking for some great love to save her. It makes me sad for her and the whole mess she made with the indie rocker (becoming a stepmother to his little girl/giving Matilda a stepdad, then running off). She needs to NOT get married again.

One of the Fug girls mentioned on Twitter that the staged pics and People announcement had to happen prior to the Globes since she's def showing now and people would be like, "Uh...?"

BUT! Wevs, baybees for everyone! I don't know if we talked about it here, but JVDB's wife had a recent scary/sad miscarriage that they were very open about. That lady has basically spent the entirety of the last decade pregnant which is A LOT. They have five and I think she's miscarried 3x in between.

It's probs just me at this point, but I wonder if DK spies on Jodie's insta with a clenched fist a la Arthur and then does breathing exercises after.

The Queen & Slim actress was seen enjoying the holidays in Jamaica with her husband Joshua Jackson, just weeks after PEOPLE confirmed that the two had recently wed....

A source close to the couple confirmed to PEOPLE on Dec. 20 that they had recently wed. (A rep for the Dawson’s Creek alumnus could not be reached for comment, and a rep for the Queen & Slim star did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.)

This is curious to me - why would the reps not just say “yes, it’s true” at this point? The whole relationship has been played out on assumption, suggestion and inference. I guess this counts as “official” confirmation though, since People are the celeb mouthpiece, yes? And it’s now taken as fact everywhere (and she’s obviously pregnant).

DK is totally aware of what The J is doing. She released a pic of her little one right after the red carpet debut and then did a pap walk with NR right after Xmas as the news Of baby and marriage were confirmed. I figure she is ordering a case of wine by this point.

MW is taking it on the Chin with the infidelity rumors. Not sure her PR was good on this. She must be really showing if she felt she had to go public and not hide in flowy dress.

I am not sure if we (including me!) are all just misremembering or being unfair to DK. She did like him, and he was not a perfect partner by any means, and while I don’t think she was much of a Pacey fan, she did stare at him adoringly in many pictures in the old DK/JJ thread (RIP).

Agreed, she liked him and he wasn’t perfect as a partner, I’m sure. In fact I always liked the fact that she didn’t go overboard about him in public (many people didn’t like that), I just meant there’s no doubting how Jodie feels about him. But she’s an extrovert and very unlike DK in that way. Also, DK always claimed he wouldn’t let her watch DC!

MDubs did a great job of diverting attention away from her questionable relationship timeline by giving the speech of the night at the GGs. She's not showing that much and could have hidden the pregnancy with some careful dressing so I wonder why she decided on the People news drop. Also, I didn't like her dress. That color isn't my favorite anyway, but the blue flower seemed like an afterthought and the whole thing was a disappointment.

I can only assume one of the tabs was about to run a story that was more messy and she agreed to give People an exclusive to control the narrative? She isn't really showing so that wasn't the impetus. I wonder if Tommy's wife heard about the pregnancy in People? Ha, brutal!
