DK and The J Fangirling: Who Knew It Would Last This Long?

DK went to a screening of The Dallas Buyers' Club AKA the movie that Matthew McConaughey got ridic skinny for. It was hosted by Jared Leto and DK's been friendly with him ever since they made a movie together. She took a pic with Amy Smart who is besties with The J and Ali Larter. Their circle of famous friends is very small and consistent, it seems.

I would love the pink dress if it didn't have these weird spots coming out of it. Now, I hate it. The J looks good!

Jared Leto wrinkles my nose, but I do love that she's seen at all kinds of 'ness for her friends. And an architectural book/mag was my first thought, too. The J dancing! Sweet Jesus, that shit is adhorrable. We cannot blame it on DK's lounge seat, even though it appears to be some sort of mini trampoline.

I'm guessing everyone who attended wore Chanel and if we're judging all the other women's dresses, Karl's not even pretending to care about them enough to loan out the good shit, but favorite bb DK gets whatever couture she wants.

Hah! Their faces in that first one remind me of Madame Tussauds. Are the shoes Chanel too? They look so similar to the metallic Gucci strappies that I lust after, except they're all black and very broken in. The better to dance on banquettes with, my dear.

The Dad dancing! Holy Beek. What is funny is that even though I have no idea what mr.o's dancing would look like, I picture it exactly like that. Which makes sense because he's a dad! One of the reasons why we didn't have any dancing at our wedding was because I didn't want to find out.

Yes, her dress is drool worthy, and I am so tickled that she is not letting him wear socks again.

I don't think so, but yeah she loves them. I thought they might be just a black pair of the Nudist sandals from Stuart Weitzman that she has in the light gray, but they look different. Whatever they are, they're definitely a replacement for those gold ankle strap Gucci ones she wore for years. No one can ever say that DK does not flove strappy shoes.

I think you can probs figure out what she's been gifted vs. what she's bought for herself based on number of uses alone. If DK gets like a purse or something, she'll trot it out for a week or two just to be nice and to throw some promo towards whatever brand gave it to her. But if she spends money on it? You'll see it on and off for YEARS. Her Hermes Constance bag has been with her longer than The J.

I wish that for you, bb! I could try to Secret it for you, but my energies are focused towards acquiring the orange Prada doctor bag. DK should totally start a donation hotline for her gently used goods. The goddaughters of good fortune can not be the only recipients of all the swag, you know? Spread the wealth, DK. Or at least start an ebay account.
