Pig- Keira was pretty good. I was actually surprised because she looks so tomboyish in it and I thought she was so pretty in Love, Actually. But word on the Natalie Portman-Winona love child thing.

Make sure to watch the DVD extra where the director shows how to make some Indian dish. It's hilarious to watch her mother correct almost everything she says!

Saw Secretary last night and really liked it. I don't generally like either Gyllenhall as a rule, but I thought Maggie was excellent. And no one does creepy like Spader.

Hmm. Alan, I suppose you could consider what Is did to be censoring. In most circles however, it would be considered editing. That and extolling the virtues of proper sentence construction.

<--- trips and hits head like a drunk wildebeest whilst running with the intelligent pack.

Piggay, Mr. Wacked and I rented Punch Drunk Love this weekend and I totally agree with you. I could not believe I did not fall asleep during the movie. Sandler was good, but the movie? Eek. I found myself wanting his character to kick the shit out of the mattress factory guy and was highly disappointed when he didn't.

Let's aaaaaalllll connect with our rage!

I love this movie, for a wide variety of reasons. Two of the most important being that it's fucking hot and it's also a sensitive portrayal of EVERYTHING. I love the movie immensely.

It's, like, the diametric opposite of the book it's based on, by the way. This is mostly because the author sucks.

A friend of mine is a movie freak and I slept over at his place a couple of days. He had all sort of heavy movies but I wasn't in the mood so I just made it three days of Disney marathon and a few comedy including Caligula (which IS a comedy) slipped in between.

Those Disneys were nothing to write home about (except for Beauty and The Beast, which I despised) but what the fuck is the reason for the existence of Caligula? It's more hardcore than softporn but it's not exactly porn. Is it supposed to be an art movie? I must say I prefer real porn to this, but oddly the two and a half hour passed very quickly for me. I think I simply dick. But I'm still very confuzled.

I don't expect spell-checking (I'm a notoriously bad speller!) and I don't expect you to use perfect grammar. I expect that everyone make an effort to be clear and relatively concise.

I'm not asking for perfection! All I want is to be able to read your posts. If you expect the members of this board to read your posts then you should respect them enough to follow simple grammar rules to make your posts easier to read.

It's about being polite. It's not about me demanding conformity.
Itís just really honestly so tiring and emotionally draining to have to get upset over reality constantly.

Netflix served us Beckham, Tomb Raider II and Better Luck Tomorrow. I really liked BiLK and BLT, but BLT was something that was new material and very good.

Well, as for TRII, Angelina is still really hot and Lara Croft has a pretty awesome life. I wouldn't mind being her. Hee. Everyone said it sucked, but I found it no better or worse than the first one. Basic action formula with a average script.

I will say I was disappointed in the end, but that's because I'm totally into old religions and supernatural shit. And, the box looked like it was floating in Jed Clampett's pool of Texas Tea. Lotsa bad CGI in this one.

TLA had Home Room on DVD new for $7.50, and the movie poster for an additional $.50.

I feel today was a productive movie-purchasing day. I totally don't care about the film, but it has Busy's !

Still catching up on my movies. We finally saw Pirates of the Carribean and I really liked it a lot. Although I am somewhat disturbed by the fact that my 3 favorite movies of 2003 starred Keira Knightly.

Also saw Safety of Objects which I liked a lot more than I was expecting to. The kid and the doll weirded me out, but both Mr. Snick and I could relate a little too well to Moira and Dermot's story.

On tap for tonight: Igby Goes Down.
