I'm cautiously optimistic, although I hate it (pun intended) when trailers basically give the entire movie away.
The Lucy casting is fine (although I remember her style as being more quirky in the book? less corporate-ly standard?) but I'm not sold on Austin Stowell as Josh. Josh is supposed to be more of a growly suited bear of a man, right? Like the height difference is sort of there, but not as exaggerated as the book described.
If they had to go digging into Nina Dobrev's past boy carousel for casting, I think I would have gone for Derek Theler instead.
6'5 just feels more right than 6'1, unless I am not remembering the book correctly.
