To answer your question from the previous thread, Is:

    1. Yes. At several interviews he was sniffling and what not. In London he tried to blame it on the weather. Bitch, please.

    2. Mayor Bloomberg has given tax breaks/incentives to film/tv production companies recently so some shows like the J's and Ugly Betty are taking advantage of them and moving to NY.

I'm going to sign up for extra work with a casting agency that I saw advertising on craigslist, hopefully it doesn't turn out to be for porn.

God, I hope this show is bad/good enough to get me back into a fandom.

I don't know! I didn't really like X Files, or JJ Abrams projects so I don't have high hopes.

Except . . .I liked Felicity, I guess. But I don't think this has any chance of being more Felicity-like than X Files-like. I didn't see any funie in that trailer, really. I must have my Pacey funie!

I saw Josh's character wise crackin' in some sneak peak so I'm guessing he's the comic relief.

I love--LOVE--The X-Files. I think it's the best show in TV in reruns. And re-watching only proves that to me (I've been TiVoing in anticipation of the big X-Files 2 movie).

However, I dislike J.J. Abrams' projects overall. I never got into Felicity, thought Alias was mostly silly and Sidney was annoying, I really disliked Lost after the first season (and thought the first season was wildly over-rated), and I thought Cloverfield was fun but stupid. He also has a bunch of bad movies under his belt including Armageddon, Regarding Henry, and Mission Impossible 3.

So the idea of J.J. Abrams's X-Files does not fill me with enthusiasm. I'm hoping he gets a smart show runner and he spends a lot of time on that Cloverfield sequel, honestly.

I liked Felicity for the first couple of seasons, but not so much toward the end.

Never watched Alias or The X-Files and am only a casual viewer of Lost - which means I never have any idea what is happening.

            But I will remain optimistic.

I loved Felicity and own all the seasons on DVD and while I loved Alias less, we also own all of those seasons. The boy season passes Lost, but I just couldn't get into it ever. I think I've seen the first few episodes, but have only watched snippets since then.

If the new show is like Alias where the girl gets to be kickass a good portion of the time, I think I'll like it. I don't know about this new girl, though. She just seems kinda bland. But then, so is Jen Garner and I like her just fine so maybe I'll warm up to this new chick, too.

I just hope she cries less than Sidney did! Jack Bauer NEVAH cries!

I wouldn't blame him if he did! He's had some VERY long bathroom-free days!

                        From review linked by Sarah:

Jackson gets to play wry, sardonic, and romantic, sometimes all in the same breath
OMG, he really is Pacey at 28.

It would take the combination of Pacey at 28 and 90210 to bring Sarah back, hee! And it makes me laugh to see all these people on the Internet being all, "ZOMG, Joshua Jackson has always been my favorite secret TV lover!" now that the guy finally has a legit show.

Sarah! Ha! Do not underestimate the Power of Pacey! *feels diesel is near*

Okay, so when I read that review snippet that emmaleigh posted? My toes actually curled a little. I'm not even ashamed; that's just what Pacey at 28 does to me!

                            ETA:

The chemistry between him and Torv is outright palpable as much as both of their characters might fight against it. The scene in which she disrobes in order to slip into the tank is so understated (and Peter's awkwardness and attraction to Olivia so apt) that it's easy to root for them. ('Shippers, start your engines now.)
Please please please let this be true.

This whole thread has me feeling the squeeeeee! I told the Mr. the other day that our TV is spoken for on Tuesday nights so I can be with my TV boyfriend. I kind of don't want him watching it with me. Is that wrong? I'll have to tell him to go downstairs and watch Dog the Bounty Hunter or something.
