  • OMB. They've been doing that here for years now. You can never trust the clock. Through the day they often start a few minutes early. Prime time of a night, they're running a few minutes late and then each programme gets later and later. On one network, you don't have to bother turning on the 8.30pm show until nearly 8.40pm. You learn to re-programme for VCRs and TiVos.

A 75 minute Fear Factor? I can't watch two minutes of it!

    • I was just flipping channels and came upon one of the most disturbing Unsolved Mysteries. I remembered seeing it many years ago but I didn't notice until today that the guy that ended up brutally murdered in his own driveway was actually played by Matthew McConaughey!

So, it made it sort of funie but also still a very sad story.
Its just really honestly so tiring and emotionally draining to have to get upset over reality constantly.

      • Oh that makes me insane. Some networks are worse about it than others -- Fox is especially bad about starting everything early. But you know they do it so you can't change the channel since the other show will already be in progress. And I hate padding TiVo because, well, then it makes things conflict for the entire 30-min block when really you just needed an extra 30 seconds at the end.

        • Keenai: No, he was only "dead" for two days. He somehow managed to find a back door in the fire pit he fell in! BWAH. But his "death" was long enough for Brooke to turn to Jack Wagner for sexual comfort and get pregnant with his child.

          • Bwah! When I asked my mom if Ridge was really dad she said exactly what Neo did! She's really sick of that show but still loves The View. Hee!

            • I wish I could watch it more than once every other week or so. Poor Jack Wagner! Having to play second fiddle to that.

Although watching them try to BadAct each other is so amusing.

              • Neo, today Brooke was feeling guilty after having sex with Ridge's newly discovered half-brother. I think it's Melrose Place every time Jack has a scene. And, Brooke's on her honeymoon as well? WFT! When did she marry Ridge? Shouldn't he mourn Taylor for more than 5 minutes?

It's so confusing. And who the fuck is that chick with the dog?

The writers must have so much fun writing for this show.

                • OMB you missed their wedding? They were in local RITUAL COSTUME (local to a fake island, natch) and Ridge was shirtless. It was outstanding cheez.

They've also replaced the froggy kid that was playing Ridge's son with an older teenager. Taylor's been dead for a year and a half. That's eons in soap-time.

                      • My inner Shakespere geek is so bitter right now. I forgot to tape a CBC special of an old movie of Macbeth. It was from the early '60s and was made before Sean Connery started doing the Bond movies.

                        • Anybody happen to catch the Style network's new show? The Brini Maxwell Show is SO bizarre! The only thing I could say to describe it is that it's like a drag queen doing a spoof of Martha Stewart but the show seems to be set in 1962.

It's SO weird and wonderful I just couldn't look away!

                          Brini has a site: www.brinimaxwell.com

                          • In the past 24 hours, I've seen (I think) five Creek episodes. Which is fine, me being the girl who loves Roswell.

                            But I've converted my friends.

Now the rest of the Dyke Squad wants to come over within the next few days, to see more of Audrey, who they love, and to yell more at Dawson, who they hate.

                            *sniffles*

                            My friends understand! They do!
