I cried in a good way for an actual full hour! From the second Jason plays a perfect game until the end, I BAWLED. I wish The Good Place was how the afterlife works. I'd give anything for it to be like that. I loved all six of those characters so much, I'd spend eternity with them. Truly, wonderful little show that really grows on you and delivers like whoa. Even my husband cried! He was sniffling every time I looked over at him through my happy/sad/cathartic tears.

    NERFECT FORKING SHOW.

I cried buckets! Has there ever been a finale so satisfying? It was like the anti-HIMYM. Or the anti VMars S4! It almost made me fond of KBell again.

I hope everyone involved goes on to make something equally as weird and wonderful, like really really soon.

THE GOOD PLACE. UGH. I wasn’t ready! I’m not ready! I don’t know that there’s ever going to be another show that’ll fill this particularly weird (Janet) void of surreal silliness and ethics lessons.

Can’t do it! This grudge is FOREVER! But I have missed supernatural ‘ness since I rolled to a stop with, well, Supernatural.

Bless This Mess has been filling the “fluffy, small town comedy” void left by Hart of Dixie, but there’s nothing real to ship. Do true ships only exist in full-on dramas nowadays? Because I won’t be ready for emotional destruction from a TV show until after I know for sure that we’re not in for another four years of a toddler president.

I spent the day catching up on Nancy Drew, and it's insane. Nancy is a huge asshole! It has a kind of hilariously diverse cast (George is Asian, Bess is gay-ish, Ned Nickerson is black mechanic. Nancy is still white. Heh) and it's not a MOTW. It's got two murder mysteries going and features many, many ghosts, some demons. It's sometimes genuinely creepy, sometimes genuinely hilariously bad (that time George was possessed!).

I'm mostly mad that I skipped the credits and was sorta not realizing this is from Josh and Steph Savage and YOU KNOW I STILL GRUDGE THE SHIT OUT OF THEM. But they do make consistently amusing teen shit!

Anyway, it's fun! It's stupid! It's got ghosts! For some reason!

The Good Place isn't the kind of show that could break me because I don't care about the romances. It's just a delightful ensemble cast and the only way to ruin it would be just kill them all off in the end and it can't do that (SPOILER ALERT: THEY ALREADY DEAD).

It’s a Schur show, though. He physically can’t produce anything that doesn’t bring you joy.

I have resolutely avoided The Good Place until it ends and someone tells me it doesn’t betray the audience in the end. I know too many people who are very invested in that show, and so it must be good, but I don’t trust them not to break all of their viewers.

Seriously. I stopped following her on Instagram and stopped reading interviews because I don't want her to ruin tGP for me.

OMG, I just realized that Vmars S4 is why I haven't watched TV in months, basically? And everything I watch I'm like: This is fine but I don't feel anything... LOL

I think I'm honestly only now coming to terms with what Rob Thomas did to my poor fucking heart. I'm so fragile now! I don't think I can invest in another ship until a show is completely ovah and done and somebody swears to me that it ends well and will make me happy and NOBODY DIES.

Doesn't help that I was all excited about a new season of Wynona Earp on Netflix a couple of months ago and then only two eps in they killed half of my ship off FOR NO BEEKDAMN REASON BEEKDAMNIT and now I can't be bothered to watch anymore of that either.

But if I can't invest in ships anymore THEN WHO CARES ABOUT TV. UGH. That's all that really mattered! (to me.)

    Rob Thomas the Life Ruiner.

(not that thrilled with you either, KBell! YOU WERE LIFE RUINER ADJACENT AND YOU KNOW IT.)

I still like and watch This is Us but I'm not super invested and it does not make me cry one bit. I actually find it soothing. Huh. The shows that I actually thought were good TV (and movies in Marvel's case) like GoT and VM let me down big time and the ones I know are mediocre like Suits and Arrow and This is Us actually follow through emotionaly and with their endings. (I mean, TiU hasn't eneded but from what we see from the flash forwards most things are fine). Maybe The Good Place will be the exception and the the actual good show with satisfying ending.

Bwa! Pretty sure I watch This Is Us BECAUSE it’s manipulative and I just want to make sure I can still feel. I’m like o with the reality show drama, only for me I guess it’s hyper-emo families.
