  • Without even trying I've managed to return to my pre-pregnancy weight! I'm giddy with excitement! I had planned on staying away from soda, but the baby has decided that being awake at night with Mommy is FUN! so I've had to keep up the caffeine just to make it through the day and night. However, I'm setting up an exercise routine and plan on getting back on WW aiming for my high school weight once more.

    • I've heard microdermabrasion is like the world's worst sunburn. And congrats Laura!

      • OMB. I had to breakdown and buy a bunch of new pants since clothes are no longer fitting me! I am getting dangerously close to pre-Jenny Craig weight!! *sobs* I just joined the gym at work but I haven't gone yet. Kermie offered to buy me an exercise machine for the living room. *sobs*

        • Mr. D and I are getting selling our elliptical machine to make room for babies! I lurve it, but didn't really use it anymore after I started running, plus now I'm not allowed to exercise at all and we gots to make room the bratlets in this 2BR apartment. So the machine has got to go! Of course it may not be up to Kermie's standards to have the best of the best of everything. But if you're interested in taking a look at it, let me know!

          • I saw Piggay two weeks ago and she is still as tiny and cute as always. Do not be fooled, people!

            • Shh! I'm 100% certain that she's as tiny and adorable as always, but //itsallaboutme// I'm trying to get rid of my clutter here! //itsallaboutme//

              • Why do I get the feeling that the 1500 LPs aren't included in the 'clutter'? Nor the 27 guitars? Hee!

Not that I can blame y'all. Fiona and I are arguing about what is classified as clutter and what isn't. It's quite amazing how very little of my stuff is deemed clutter, but most of hers is.

                • Bwah! You all are sweet. But I must say I'm fairly good at hiding the extra lbs. Howevah, it's getting harder to hide! I wore a suit today I hadn't worn since summer and they were too short. Why? Because it was so tight, I couldn't lower it down to the "correct" position on my hips. It was all up in my crack! My suit with stretch was at the clearner and the other suit I had just worn the day before to the same conference. I had to hide the tummy and hip bulge by wearing a button-up shirt untucked. Fortunately, there was no camel toe.

BTW, I just found out that two of the pairs of pants I *just* dropped off to get tailored (yes, petite pants are too long for my stumpy legs) are now on sale! Damn it!

Any who, D, I might actually take you up on your elliptical offer. Does it fold-up for storage? Link please!

                  • Nope, it doesn't fold up for storage. Hence why I have to get rid of it -- it just takes up too much room, espcially for something that I'm totally not using anymore. I don't think they make my exact model anymore, but it's relatively similar to this. Mine doesn't have the built in fan, but otherwise I think it's pretty similar.

OT/ Of course guitars aren't clutter in our house! Guitars actually get played, and enjoyed, and don't sit around collecting dust. LPs, well, unless we got rid of every single one of them, it's useless to cull since they live in a special piece of furniture made for holding LPs. So even if we got rid of half of them, the browser would still take up the same amount of space, and since it's made for storing records, it's useless for storing anything else. Also it serves a useful function as a couch table. Now, books on the other hand . . . that's what we're getting aggro about getting rid of. Bye bye, dust collectors! /OT

                      • I've come across different opinions so far, but am I supposed to tip the masseuse/masseur? I'm getting my first massage today (HURRAY before I go on a rampage), and I don't want to rook the guy out of a tip if I'm supposed to give one.

                        • Call the spa and ask if gratuity is included in the price. If not, then they have the little envelopes where you can stick some cash in accordingly.

                          • I'm a massage junkie, and I have always given a 15%-20% tip. Every place I've gone to, it's expected.

                            • Thankee, ladies. He told me not to worry about it since it was my first one! I still feel like I should go back on Monday and give him one though.

I had such a hard time trying to completely relax and let him move my limbs for me! I was also surprised that much of my ASS got massaged. I'm not complaining; I was just surprised!

                              • Hee! My massage therapist always tests me to make sure I'm completely relaxed by dropping my arm in the middle of working on it. If it drops to the table then he doesn't yell at me!
