I dyed mine pink a few years ago. The pics alone are worth it.

Itís just really honestly so tiring and emotionally draining to have to get upset over reality constantly.

    • Oh - there will be no colouring just yet: just going properly lesbo/ hawt Pink stylee.

Sorry - posting from my phone, and I've also lost any board skills I once had.

      • You should do both--spiky and pinky.

        • Yessss. Doooo it. I'm going to go Rainbow Brite on my ombre hair before I chop off the bleach just to see how my new corporate gig reacts.

          • Yes! The more lesbian the better!

            • So y'all know I love masks, right? I swear by my Boscia and I've basically hoarded several years worth of tubes because I'm pretty sure they're discontinuing it. They still have it on their web site, but it's been half off the original price for months now so it seems like they're just trying to get rid of old product.

Anyway, I went and got a facial this weekend and the lady who usually does them for me was out sick so I had a replacement. I can't even describe this chick's skin to you guys. It was like poreless even up close and while she was working on me, I just stared at her like a total creeper trying to find any imperfection. So she finishes and she's really nice, whatever, and at this point I can't not say something. So I'm like, "You skin is amazing, which one of these doo dads do you use, 'cause I'mma try it." And she laughed and was kind of embarrassed and then was like, "Mmm probs shouldn't tell you, but I use a mask from the grocery store and it's MY LIFE."

She recc'ed this Aztec Healing Clay stuff so I went and found it. I tried it for the first time last night and it totally does the same thing as my Boscia, except it's even more intense. Like, I could feel squeezing my face tighter. I used it with the apple cider vinegar that it suggests on the back and left it on for about 20 minutes. Okay, so here's the kicker. Usually, i use my Boscia and then when I remember, I'll follow up with a Biore strip for my nose. And it always has gunk on it, even after my mask. When I used the strip last night? That sucker was CLEAN. Like there was nothing left to suck out of my pores because the mask had done ALL the work. I've watched a few user vids for the mask of YT and everyone says that they moisturize right after because it can be drying, so I did that too.

This morning, my face looked like a fucking baby's. I don't know if the mask is that amazing or if my face was already clean from the facial, but I'm gonna keep trying it over the next several weeks to see if it still has that same effect. Hopefully, I've found a magical replacement for my Boscia when my stash runs out.

              • I'm buying the fuck out of that mask this weekend.

                • OOH. I'm about it. My skin is dullsville like it's already winter. I'll do that for me and this weird Baby Foot peel for Mr. Laa's Flintstone feet. He is NOT going to scratch me with his hooves this year.

                  • Def trying the mask.

Also I'm back to reconsidering the Clarisonic.

                    • That mask sounds amazeballs. I'm buying it with the Bragg's raw Apple Cider vinegar *and* a DIY mask mixer-upper kit.

I wonder if it alters the results in a bad way if I steam and OCM my face first, though. Maybe that would be too much and make me too sensitive?

                      • I am ALL OVER that because my skin looks like shit. Walmart has it on their site so I'm going to check my store and see if they keep it in stock.

                        • My skin is BY FAR my best feature and I really, really need to start caring for it better. I literally do soap, water, and occasionally moisturizer. And look like a baby at 38. I'm not bragging, because I am deathly afraid that any minute now I am going to look my age ALL AT ONCE as punishment for never taking care of it.

I just know I am going to wake up one day and look 75. And totes deserve it. I even smoked for 15 years.

This is a good time to start, so I am def going to give it a try.

                          • jennchum - I do even less than you. I've never done make up or moisturizer or facials or exfoliants or ANYTHING. But then I don't smoke and rarely drink to excess so I guess that is good in some regard.
And I never worried about it until now. Last night I ventured onto Amazon for the clay & organic apple cider vinegar Issie posted about. Damn, it's a bitch growing up at my age.

                            • YOU GUYS.

I also have a young face for 42. But, despite having almost zero wrinkles I have an AGE SPOT. And now a second, very faint one has started. I am FREAKING THE FUCK OUT.

                              WHAT DO I DO?

                              • I am skeptical of these treatments in terms of effectiveness, but at least they are cheap and easy?

When Apple Cider Vinegar is mixed with onion juice and applied directly to the skin, it can help you to get rid of age spots and sun spots.
                                • Finely chop or blend an onion, and use a strainer or cheese cloth to squeeze and extract the juice.
                                • Take one part of Apple Cider Vinegar and one part of onion juice and mix them together.
                                • Dab a cotton pad into the solution and apply it directly onto the age spots.
Leave this on the skin for a minimum of 30 minutes, and as long as you are comfortable with it. Repeat this once a day for approximately 6 weeks and you should begin to notice a gradual improvement. If the spots have not completely disappeared after the 6 weeks but they have started to fade, keep repeating the process until they do.
To speed up the process, you can mix 3 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar into a mug full of water (hot or cold), and drink this twice daily for a month. This will not only improve your age spots, but it will also give you a healthy young glow and make you feel energized and active. If you find the taste of the vineger to be too strong, try adding a tablespoon of honey as a natural sweetener.
NATURAL CURE FOR AGE SPOTS USING ALOE VERA

Aloe Vera juice or gel has long been known as a general healing agent for skin problems, particularly burns. Many people have also found it to be helpful in reducing the visual appearance of age spots. Simply rub the juice or gel directly onto the affected areas twice a day, and leave it on the skin for at least 45 minutes each time. Within a month you should begin to notice improvements.
HOME REMEDY FOR AGE SPOTS USING LEMON JUICE

The acid in Lemon juice has been shown to help fade the appearance of age spots. Simply dab fresh lemon juice directly onto the spots twice daily and you should begin to notice improvements in about two months. Leave the juice on the skin for at least 30 minutes, or as long as you are comfortable with it. You can also leave the juice on the skin overnight.
NOTE: If you plan to go outdoors, wait for the juice to dry as it increases the skin's sensitivity to sunlight.
USING CASTOR OIL AS A REMEDY FOR AGE SPOTS

Castor Oil has been shown to improve the appearance of age spots. Simple rub the oil directly onto the affected skin areas once in the morning and once in the evening. This should help fade the spots within a month.
